Kubtec, Premier reach purchasing agreement

Kubtec, an x-ray systems developer based out of Milford, Conn., now has a purchasing agreement with the healthcare improvement company Premier.

Beginning Oct. 1, Premier members will have access to pre-negotiated pricing for mammography products and services.

“Being a supplier partner to Premier is a natural progression for us,” Vikram Butani, CEO of Kubtec, said in a statement. “Like Premier, Kubtec is dedicated to improving patients’ lives by driving performance improvements that result in better clinical and financial outcomes.”

Imaging products in this deal include:

  • The Mozart 3D Specimen Imaging System with TomoSpec® Technology
  • The XPERT 20, 40, 80 and 80L range of Specimen Imaging Systems
  • The KUB 250 Neonatal Low-Dose X-ray Imaging System

The agreement follows another deal Premier made with the medical imaging company Del Medical earlier in the year.
