Carestream unloads international business lines | Envision acquires PE-backed imaging operator | RadNet adds $1M in revenue

Under terms of the deal, Carestream is unloading its international operations to Midea Group, a Chinese electrical appliance manufacturer. 

With the deal, Envision will add a total of 42 freestanding centers across six states, ballooning its location count to more than 100 nationwide. 

The company is expanding into southwest Florida, one of the Sunshine State’s fastest growing geographies, with the purchase of Radiology Regional. 

Lantheus has signaled that the decision to sell its SPECT business will allow the company to focus more on growing its portfolio of PET radiodiagnostics and microbubbles. 

The private equity-backed, Addison, Texas-based provider group recently reached a deal to buy the Knoxville Comprehensive Breast Center in Tennessee. 

Leaders at Philips are optimistic about how the new agreement could further advance its capabilities in image-guided coronary interventions. 

Chicago imaging systems manufacturer GEHC said Nov. 20 it hopes to close the transaction by the first half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and other conditions. 

The private equity-backed, Tennessee-based imaging group is expanding in Georgia and Missouri through partnerships with Piedmont and BJC HealthCare, respectively. 

Northern California-based Vituity, which is led and owned by doctors, said it has reached a deal to partner with Focused Medical Imaging. 

The country’s largest imaging group is buying Palo Alto, California-based Cognita Imaging Inc., which was founded by scientists at Stanford University.
