RSNA launches new journal focused on AI in radiology
RSNA has published the debut issue of its new online journal, Radiology: Artificial Intelligence.
The issue includes both editorials and original research. It can be accessed on RSNA’s website.
“We are extremely pleased with the quality of articles in the journal's first issue,” editor Charles E. Kahn Jr., MD, professor and vice chairman of radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine and senior fellow of the Institute for Biomedical Informatics and the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, said in a prepared statement. “These articles highlight the ways that AI can be applied to measurably improve healthcare.”
In the same statement, Kahn noted that he and his colleagues aim to deliver “the same high quality of original scientific research” as RSNA’s Radiology journal.
“In addition to original research, we welcome articles that explore the ethical, social, legal and economic implications of AI in radiology,” he added.
