ViewBox for iPad to Improve Teaching
ViewBox Holdings has released a medical imaging application for the iPad it says will improve the way students learn about radiology.
The new application “offers radiology trainees and other medical professionals a method to create and share image teaching files which are the bedrock of radiology learning and education,” according to a company press release. The main benefit of the ViewboxTM, the name given the application, is reportedly that it can access teaching file images from multiple locations such as iCloud, Google Picasa, Dropbox, and the Radiology Society of North America's MIRC Server.
The company also says the application works well in the clinical setting as a convenient way to share images with patients.
