SEEit from Siemens Healthcare gets FDA clearance
The FDA has cleared SEEit, Siemens Healthcare’s noninvasive prostate MR imaging product. With SEEit, patients can get routine prostate exams in approximately 10 minutes without the use of an endorectal coil.
The company just announced double-digit increases in both sales and profits for the year’s first fiscal quarter. Those numbers included profits of $586.1 million and sales of $3.56 billion.
“We continue to focus on addressing our structural challenges in the company and invest into further developing our markets and strengthening our innovation power,” Joe Kaeser, Siemens Healthcare CEO and president, said in a statement.
