Intermountain Healthcare Acquires two Utah Radiology Associates centers

Utah Radiology Associates (URA) and Intermountain Healthcare (IH) have entered into an agreement for IH to acquire ownership and management of URA’s privately owned outpatient imaging center, Utah Valley Imaging, and its multidisciplinary pain management clinic, Utah Valley Pain Management.

Once the sale is complete, URA will continue providing professional diagnostic imaging interpretation and pain management interventional services at Utah Valley Imaging under contract with IH, according to a press release by Globe Newswire.

Private ownership and operational control of the Intermountain Vein Center (IVC) and the outpatient interventional radiology, Utah Valley Interventional Associates (UVIA), will continue being maintained and operated by URA.

URA will also continue to be the main contracted provider of professional imaging and interventional services at IH-owned facilities in Utah and Wasatch Counties.
