MEDNAX announces expansion of services in Tennessee, Florida

MEDNAX announced on Tuesday, March 27, that it has acquired Cool Springs International, a Franklin, Tennessee-based radiology practice founded in 2008. The practice will now be managed by Radiology Alliance, a Nashville-based MEDNAX affiliate. It was a cash transaction, and no other financial terms were made public.

MEDNAX also announced that Radiology Associates of South Florida, an affiliate based out of Miami, has started providing imaging services to the Naples, Florida-based Physicians Regional Healthcare System.

According to a prepared statement from MEDNAX, these moves “add to the services MEDNAX provides in Tennessee and Florida through its affiliated network of physicians across multiple specialties, which include anesthesiology, maternal-fetal medicine, neonatology, newborn hearing screens, obstetric hospitalist, pediatric cardiology, pediatric hospitalist, pediatric intensive care, pediatric gastroenterology, pediatric urology, pediatric infectious disease and pediatric surgery.”
