Security proven, again: DataFirst earns A+ ratings for Silverback and Cyber Essentials certification

RALEIGH, N.C. — September 24, 2026 — DataFirst, a leading provider of enterprise imaging workflow solutions, has earned Grade A+ ratings from Astra Security for Silverback for the second consecutive year, along with Cyber Essentials certification across the entire DataFirst organization.

These achievements expand DataFirst’s portfolio of independent security validations and reinforce its commitment to protecting the technology and infrastructure that support critical healthcare imaging workflows.

DataFirst doesn’t just claim security. It’s continuously tested, validated, and proven.

Silverback completed Astra Security’s in-depth security audit and penetration testing process, including remediation of identified vulnerabilities. The platform received Grade A+ ratings. The certifications were issued on August 27 and remain valid through August 27, 2027.

DataFirst also earned its Cyber Essentials Certificate of Assurance, which covers the entire organization and extends security validation beyond the Silverback platform. The certification was issued Sept. 1.
