TeraRecon, EnvoyAI, Ambra Health debuting new AI collaboration at HIMSS18

TeraRecon, EnvoyAI and Ambra Health announced Tuesday, March 6, that they have collaborated on a new end-to-end artificial intelligence (AI) strategy.

Through this partnership, healthcare organizations can implement an AI strategy through Ambra’s image exchange workflow and gain full access to EnvoyAI’s advanced algorithms, all while using their own PACS system or one of TeraRecon’s viewers. The companies will be demonstrating this new strategy March 6-8 at HIMSS18 in Las Vegas at booth #8324.

“This interoperability partnership gives healthcare providers in the Ambra network access to bleeding edge AI technology for advanced image visualization, providing the very latest technological innovations to continually improve patient outcomes and care,” Andrew Duckworth, Ambra Health’s vice president of business development, said in a prepared statement.

“Through our partnerships with Ambra Health and TeraRecon, our technology can reach remote, single physician practices while also meeting the most demanding clinical needs of the largest integrated health systems,” Jake Taylor, EnvoyAI’s CTO, said in the statement.

TeraRecon will also be debuting Northstar, “the world’s first AI results viewer,” at HIMSS18.

“Northstar is designed to be effortlessly embedded into all major PACS viewing platforms for an instant end-to-end AI strategy that spans from the selection of algorithms to the final end-user experience,” Jeff Sorenson, TeraRecon’s CEO, said in the statement.
