An imaging software supplier in Australia has received the FDA’s OK to market a new 3D visualization product in the U.S.
Singular Health Group says its 3Dicom MD offering can render standard CT, MRI and PET images in both 2D and 3D in real time, with voice and text built in to facilitate clinical collaboration, according to the Market Herald of Perth, Western Australia.
The outlet reports that the company plans to begin selling the product in 2023, commercializing it “through a combination of enterprise partnerships and distribution agreements, as well as through the company’s direct online sales channel.”
Singular Health’s CEO adds that 3Dicom MD is “a key element in the company’s scan-to-surgery strategy, providing pre-surgical diagnostic review, planning and patient education.”
