RSNA Regains Top Spot on List of Largest Medical Meetings

The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) is the largest healthcare convention in the US, according to the Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association annual list of the 50 largest US medical meetings in 2011. RSNA regained the top spot with reported a total attendance of 59,097. The Greater New York Dental Meeting is second place, with 53,789 total reported attendees. In third was the FIME Show, with 52,723 total attendees. The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and Society for Neuroscience (SfN) round out the top five, with 31,800 and 31,500 total reported attendees, respectively. According to the list, average reported professional attendance increased 3.2 percent from 2010, while average reported total attendance increased 2.2 percent.
