Toshiba Launches FDA-Cleared Imaging System

Toshiba America Medical Systems today announced a new Kalare radiography and fluoroscopy imaging system that has received 510 (k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The company says the FDA-cleared HDR-08A Imaging System offers a more intuitive user interface and advanced image processing, with an increased dynamic range for fluoroscopy. With these new system features, the vendor claims, clinicians can obtain more information from the images, resulting in quicker, more accurate patient diagnoses.
