Intelerad signs $50M multi-year agreement with 1 of state’s largest hospital systems
Radiology vendor Intelerad has signed a $50 million agreement that spans multiple years with one of Michigan’s largest hospital systems.
Under terms of the deal, the organization will integrate Intelerad’s PACS, work list, vendor-neutral archive and image exchange solutions across the sytem. The unnamed hospital group provides care across 22 hospitals and 300 outpatient and post-acute facilities, employing over 11,500 healthcare providers.
“We are humbled to have the opportunity to help one of America's leading health systems transform healthcare in America's tenth largest state,” Morris Panner, president of the Raleigh, North Carolina-based vendor, said in a Nov. 27 announcement. "We are committed to continuing to invest in and innovate our enterprise imaging solutions to empower our partners to improve outcomes for hundreds of thousands of patients."
Intelerad said the agreement came after its new client executed a “transformational deal” that built a “powerhouse” of over 60,000 employees. Leaders at the organization sought to deploy a unified imaging solution across the vast enterprise.
Beaumont Health and Spectrum recently completed a merger deal, forming Michigan’s largest health system with 22 hospitals, 11,500 providers, over 60,000 employees and 300-plus outpatient locations.
