Washington radiology practices announce new partnership

Two radiology practices from Washington state—Spokane-based Inland Imaging and Tri Cities-based Columbia Basin Imaging (CBI)—have announced that they are combining their groups, effective September 2018.

Inland Imaging has been providing services in Spokane since 1930. CBI has provided services to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Washington, and other area facilities for more than three decades. This new group will include a roster of almost 90 radiologists.

“Combining our two groups allows us to better connect our region’s medical imaging technology, expertise, and resources so that we can continue to improve the way we serve patients and their referring physicians,” Jayson Brower, MD, president of Inland Imaging, said in a prepared statement. “This partnership allows us to promote best practices and standardization while assuring that studies are reviewed by the subspecialized radiologists best equipped to read them. The ultimate winner is the patient.”

“This partnership not only helps us better support radiology and imaging services throughout the region, it will also help promote the integration of services on the Kadlec campus by combining both interventional and diagnostic radiology services within the new group,” Richard Nguyen, MD, president of CBI, said in the same statement.
