A physician and engineer, Thomas Keane, MD, MBA, will oversee federal policy related to interoperability, electronic health records and other medtech issues. 

Findings are from a survey of 18,000 physicians across 43 states and working at over 100 healthcare organizations, who participated in the AMA Organizational Biopsy.

Leaders with the Raleigh, North Carolina-based radiology group said the change comes as the practice continues pursuing expansion through "de novo" imaging centers. 

Early adoption of multiple practice affiliations signals this trend "will become the norm rather than an exception," experts write in the Journal of the American College of Radiology. 

Indiana University radiologist Richard B. Gunderman, MD, PhD, shared the story of an anonymous colleague's moral distress, hoping to humanize this issue.

Texas Tech Health El Paso has picked Baylor College of Medicine radiology chief Eric M. Rohren, MD, PhD, as the next leader of its Foster School of Medicine. 

Tarek N. Hanna, MD, is a nationally recognized expert in emergency and trauma radiology, currently working for Emory in Atlanta. 

Jill Woodworth served as chief financial officer of the fitness company from 2018 to 2022, leading it from pre-IPO to a phenomenon notching $4 billion. 

Nasir Siddiqui, MD, MBA, is taking on the role for the Plantation, Florida-based organization after previously spending nine years at Duly Health and Care.

A professor and chief of emergency radiology for the Little Rock-based organization, Sanjaya Viswamitra, MD, has served as interim chair since August.
