Philips highlighted its Blue Seal MR 5300 1.5T MRI, low-helium sealed system at RSNA 2024. The compact, light-weight system does not require floor reinforcements and can easily be mounted in a semi-truck for mobile imaging. The system features a permanently sealed helium cooling system that only uses 2.75 liters of helium, which is only 0.5% of what standard MNRI systems use. This also means the system does not require vent pipes. Photo by Dave Fornell
