Radiology society sues Marriott, claiming breach of contract

The American Roentgen Ray Society is seeking $665,523 in damages along with any related attorneys’ fees, according to the complaint.

Rad Partners countered, saying the claims are "without merit" and a smokescreen to take attention away from a contract dispute. 

The multispecialty group—which employs about 500 radiologists—is exploring chapter 11 as it grapples with a heavy debt load. 

Mary Meszaros believes the benefits administrator erroneously calculated what she is owed and is asking a Connecticut judge to intervene.
