UCSF unveils renovated imaging facility
The department of radiology and biomedical imaging at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) announced this week that the large expansion of one of its imaging facilities is now complete. The upgrades include additional seating and restrooms for patients, larger changing rooms that can also be used for patient prep and IVs, new lockers and more.
“The goal throughout this expansion has been to pair our caring staff and ever-improving imaging technologies with a new, soothing environment that provides opportunities for enhanced logistics,” read a new post on the department’s blog. “It has been an honor to see this project unfold.”
Additional construction is still ongoing on the building’s third floor, according to the post. Details about the renovation were announced back in June 2017.
