Radiology practice pledges $100,000 toward local hospital’s expansion plans
A radiology practice is pledging $100,000 toward its local hospital’s expansion plans, part of a drive to raise more than $14 million in funding.
Sellersville, Pennsylvania-based Grand View Health announced the contribution on March 7, with funds coming from its imaging partner Grand View Radiology Associates.
The hospital system is building a new six-story, 190,000 square-foot addition, set to open in summer 2023. Following the donation, the radiology group’s name will be prominently displayed outside of a CT scan room in the new facility.
“Grand View Radiology Associates has been providing imaging and procedural services to people in our community for more than 50 years,” radiologist and Department Chairman David Levin, DO, said in a statement. “We’re proud to support the new hospital expansion and look forward to serving our community for many years to come.”
Once completed, the new pavilion will include 52 private patient rooms, 10 operating rooms, a new ED, and a rooftop helipad to support the hospital’s level 2 trauma center. Grand View Health estimated that it is now more than halfway past the goal for its “This is Us Together” capital campaign.
