PHOTO GALLERY of radiology technologies at HIMSS 2023
Many new radiology informatics solutions were on display at the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2023 meeting—the world's largest health IT conference.
One of the big IT trends seen at the show was artificial intelligence algorithms to speed medical imaging workflows. Such AI technology can aid providers by completing time consuming tasks such as quantification, along with enabling workflow efficiencies in picture archiving and communication systems. Other big trends at HIMSS23 included cloud data storage adoption, data mining medical records, departmental analytics, the movement toward enterprise imaging systems, and the increased use of virtual reality.
