Mital Patel
With a keen interest in leveraging AI and other emerging technologies for better patient care, Mital worked his way up from clerical work at a small radiology practice in Bakersfield, Calif., to a leadership role at one of the country’s largest providers of standalone medical imaging services.
That provider is RadNet, which owns and/or operates more than 370 outpatient imaging centers. Today Mital is RadNet’s executive vice president and chief administrative officer. He moved into that role after serving as RadNet’s EVP for financial planning and analysis.
Earlier, at the Bakersfield practice, his efforts proved highly effective in growing practice revenue, managing operational initiatives and overseeing quality compliance measures. He also went on to play a pivotal role in managing the practice’s acquisition by RadNet.
Along with his current high-level duties, Mital continues to refine RadNet’s day-to-day operations, working with regional operations managers and vice presidents in all of RadNet’s markets.
He works closely with the company’s teams focused on mergers & acquisitions, materials management, information technology, finance and revenue analytics. He’s also a trusted source of insights and guidance for RadNet’s board of directors.
Mital directs national budgets and finance, provides counsel regarding corporate acquisitions and identifies opportunities for the company to deliver cost-effective medical services.
Mital is active in the community, having held board seats for several nonprofit organizations.
