RBMA Joins ACR’s Leadership Institute

The American College of Radiology’s newly created Leadership Institute added its first affiliate organization this week with the Radiology Business Management Association. The Leadership Institute plans to begin offering courses in professional development beginning in August 2012. The new curriculum will include RBMA’s existing programs and offer greater opportunities for CE credits. "The partnership with the RLI allows RBMA to take its industry leading radiology business and practice education in new directions and to stay in the vanguard of the education needs of radiology professionals," said Michael Mabry, RBMA's Executive Director, according to a press release. The Leadership Institute was said to be the first professional development and leadership academy for radiology when it was created earlier this year. The multi-year academy plans to offer MBA and MPH degrees with a range of courses by world-class instructors from renowned universities, according to the release.
