MITA Names Rodriguez New Executive Director
Gail Rodriguez was named the new executive director of the Medical Imaging and Technology Alliance this week.
Rogriguez brings 20 years of experience in diagnostic imaging. She joined MITA last year as director of policy. She led the group’s PET division where she worked on regulatory, educational, health economics, and coverage initiatives. Prior to that, she directed policy and business development for the Institute for Molecular Technologies, based on a press release.Rodriguez, who has a doctorate in political science with an emphasis in health policy from the University of Kansas, was also named vice president at National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA).
