Viztek Partners With Orthopedic EHR Vendor Phoenix Ortho

Viztek, the Garner, NC-based digital software and hardware imaging solutions provider for the orthopedic practice market is teaming up with Phoenix Ortho, an orthopedic-exclusive electronic health record (EHR) vendor, to incorporate EHR software in Viztek’s Opal-ORTHO PACS and its range of DR offerings. Viztek plans to demonstrate the new software solution next week during the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) 2013 Annual Meeting in Chicago. According to the company, the Phoenix Ortho EHR interfaces seamlessly with the Viztek Opal-ORTHO PACS and will help to support stage 2 Meaningful Use declarations.   "At Viztek we are always looking at how we can enhance our product offerings, and with the addition of the Phoenix Ortho EHR we can now provide orthopedic clinics with a complete solution and further expand on our success in this market,” said Josip Cermin, president of Viztek in the press release.
