Texas Radiology Associates Contracts With Local Blue Cross Blue Shield

Texas Radiology Associates LLP, of Plano will be able to better serve more patients starting next year thanks to its new contract with health insurer Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. The group consists of 88 subspecialty-trained radiologists who provide 24-hour, hospital-based radiology services in the North Dallas community. Currently the group serves 22 hospitals and seven outpatient imaging centers. “We are excited to partner with Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Texas to provide in-network professional imaging services for North Texans,” said Paul Staveteig, MD, senior partner of Texas Radiology Associates, in the press release. The contract will include the Blue Medicare Advantage plan, a supplemental insurance plan.
