Large Independent Physician Group Installs Konica Minolta AeroDR Across Multiple Sites

Wayne, NJ, March 31, 2016 – Konica Minolta Medical Imaging announced today that one of Massachusetts’ largest independent physician groups is implementing seven AeroDR wireless Digital Radiology solutions across six different outpatient facilities. Reliant Medical Group (RMG) has over 500 physicians providing care across 30 specialties in 25 locations. The AeroDR Digital Radiology solutions are being configured with Shimadzu radiographic systems, all provided by Konica Minolta’s dealer Medical Imaging Systems, Inc.

“AeroDR is a reliable, easy-to-use and economical solution designed to meet the needs of both hospitals and the outpatient or alternate care markets,” says Guillermo Sander, Senior Strategic Marketing Manager, Konica Minolta Medical Imaging. “AeroDR is durable and features a rapid recharge, long-life lithium ion capacitor, making it an ideal solution for portable or mobile imaging that is typically found in alternate care.  With AeroDR, RMG will be able to increase throughput, and provide physicians and referrers with excellent image quality.”  The first installation occurred at the practice’s Auburn, MA site.

As a leader in Primary Imaging Solutions, Konica Minolta is dedicated to delivering next generation systems to hospitals, group practices, outpatient imaging centers, and alternate care clinics. The AeroDR family of DR panels is designed to maximize clinical efficiency by minimizing the effects of wear and tear that come with alternative wireless flat panels. The lightweight, hardened, IPX6-rated, liquid resistant enclosure allows clinicians and practices to help optimize patient outcomes, productivity and return on investment.
