Washington joins growing number of states regulating dose limits for radiation

The Washington Department of Health has started enforcing a change to regulations in 2017 that will ensure patients do not exceed dose limits for radiation.

This new regulation is one that is common in a growing number of states, as people have voiced concerns about over-exposure leading to negative side effects. 

These concerns is in part what led Washington to implement these standards, and doctors are hopeful that this move will improve patient care.
