Veterans Healthcare system remains committed to efficiency, physician engagement

The Veterans Healthcare System is renewing its commitment to HealthLevel to collaborate on high-efficiency data analytics to improve radiology efficiency and physician engagement.

As a self-sustaining program, the National Teleradiology Program (NTP), provides high-quality diagnostic radiology interpretation services across the nation for all veterans and patients in VA medical centers.

The collaboration between NTP and HealthLevel began in 2011 and has since grown to deliver value across clinical, operational and financial disciplines. More than 3,000 users in more than 85 VA Medical Centers are using data-driven workflow applications.

“Foundations from HealthLevel has been in continuous, uninterrupted operations for five-plus years as the VA-NTP data analytics platform,” said Raymond Scott, chairman of HealthLevel, in a statement. “Leadership, administrative and clinical staff at every level in all NTP service locations depend on Foundations daily to deliver quality metrics and inform decisions on workload planning and resource matching. We are grateful for the true partnership throughout NTP's growth and proud that we have improved care for our veterans.”
