Imaging provider looking to open new location in Louisville

ProScan Imaging of Louisville is working toward opening a second location in Louisville, Kentucky. The planned location would feature an open MRI system. At present, there are two open MRI locations in the Louisville area, but ProScan said neither one is close enough to patients living in the southern and western areas of the city.

The company plans to invest nearly $2 million in new equipment and comprehensive renovation project for the 1,700-square-foot space, according to reporting by Louisville Business First.

Ohio-based ProScan Imaging, which operates 25 imaging centers throughout the United States, is the parent company of ProScan Imaging of Louisville.
