Karlie began her career at MedQuest as a patient access coordinator, and through her hard work and perseverance, she advanced through various operational roles before becoming Center Manager in 2020. In her current position, she oversees an imaging center that handles approximately 230 patient encounters daily and is supported by a dedicated team of 40 professionals. Under her leadership, Novant Health Imaging Piedmont has achieved impressive financial performance, producing roughly $2 million in EBITDA annually.

One of Karlie's most significant contributions has been her instrumental role in the transition to a new EPIC EMR system and continuing to assist other imaging centers adopt the system. She has not only embraced this change but also served as an invaluable educational resource for other imaging leaders, ensuring a smooth implementation and continuity of care. Her tireless efforts during this substantial change in ownership structure have been crucial, allowing the imaging center to maintain high-quality service during a critical transition period.
