Madison Wulfeck, MD, MBA, CIIP

Dr. Madison Kocher Wulfeck is a unicorn. She is more than just a cardiothoracic radiologist, having a passion for research, teaching, and advocacy. In residency, she did research, teaching, and advocacy and has somehow managed to continue to do that throughout her fellowship and clinical practice. She currently teaches residents at University of South Florida even as a remote cardiothoracic radiologist and continues to participate in research projects through her fellowship institution Duke University. She serves on the research advisory committee at Radiology Partners and is a leader on her practice board.

She was recently awarded the ACR Hillman Fellowship for Medical Scholarly Publishing and is on multiple committees including the ACR Appropriateness Criteria on Thoracic Imaging. She is also chair-elect for the YPS Florida Radiological Society.

She doesn’t just stop there. She is constantly trying to consider how we can be doing things better and trying to ask the right questions to advance our current clinical practice. She got her MBA so that she would have the necessary background to try to approach the complex and difficult problems in the medical world. She embodies the spirit of continuous learning and betterment, inspiring others to strive for excellence in their own pursuits.
