Amirkasra (Kasra) Mojtahed, MD
Dr. Mojtahed is a distinguished radiologist whose leadership and clinical expertise are transforming abdominal imaging. As Associate Medical Director of Quality for Mass General Brigham Radiology and Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School, Kasra leads quality initiatives across a 12-hospital system. He has implemented innovative pathways such as MRI escalation for acute spinal cord compromise, improving turnaround and intervention access for critical patients.
Kasra’s national impact is evident through his role as Co-Chair of the Liver Disease Focused-Panel for the Society of Abdominal Radiology, where he helps shape imaging protocols and contributes to research on disease quantification and therapy response. His work has elevated standards of care and expanded access to imaging services in underserved regions.
