Advanced Radiology opens imaging center in Connecticut

Serving Southern Connecticut for more than 110 years, Advanced Radiology Consultants is expanding their services with their opening of a new imaging center in Wilton, which is the company’s eighth imaging center.

This center will provide patients with high-field MRI, digital screening mammography with 3D breast tomosynthesis, ultrasound and elastography, bone densitometry and digital x-ray.

The open high-field MRI will be the second installed unit of its type in the nation. The device produces images during a noiseless scanning. This capability will allow Advanced Radiology to expand their services, including imaging of patients with orthopedic implants and joint replacements.

"Our objective has always been to give patients and doctors convenient and efficient access to the latest technology, the expertise of our subspecialty trained radiologists, and exceptional value for their healthcare dollar," said Clark Yoder, CEO of Advanced Radiology Consultants. "We are excited about bringing the convenience of our services to the Wilton, Ridgefield and Norwalk communities."
