The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) announced this week that its CT certification and registration program have earned accreditation from the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). According to ARRT, it is the first organization to have accreditation for both programs.
ARRT consists of more than 61,000 CT technologists, and this is the organization’s sixth NCCA CT accreditation.
NCCA is the accrediting organization for the Institute of Credentialing Excellence (ICE). ICE has more than 330 members overall, but less than half, including ARRT, have received NCCA accreditation and maintained it.
