Infinx, Canopy Partners working together to fix ICD-10 coding issues

Infinx announced this week that it is collaborating with Canopy Partners to assist the radiology market with handling ICD-10 coding issues.

Both companies have long histories in the industry. The collaboration is expected to include an offered clinical documentation improvement program as well as personal assistance from a team of certified coders.

Infinx, a San Jose, Calif.-based business process management company with more than 3,000 employees, is a part of the Tandon Group Company, founded in 1979.

Canopy Partners, a Greensboro, N.C.-based healthcare management service organization, was formed in 2011 as a spin-off of Greensboro Radiology. Its focuses include healthcare IT, billing, finance, and practice management.

“Taking this partnership to the next level, our immediate plan is to hire more staff, train them, and provide them with all the necessary support and infrastructure to deliver and maintain high-quality coding services”, Hiren Kulkarni, Infinx CEO, said in a statement. ”Some of our existing customers have observed zero denials after the ICD-10 transition.”

Worth Saunders, Canopy Partners CEO, also commented on the collaboration.

“We foresee big opportunity in areas of coding and want to be a leading coding service provider in the Radiology market by partnering with Infinx”, Saunders, said in the statement.
