New technology aims to combat high demand, shortage of radiologists

In recent years, there has been a surge for diagnostic imaging services. However, a shortage of radiologists has made it difficult to keep up with demand. A Phillipine startup company, Lifestrack Medical Systems (LMS), has created enhanced software to help balance the worklad.

Lifesys is the first fourth-generation radiology software that is helping to fulfill the mission of LMS by addressing the shortage of radiologists with a tool made to connect medical professionals to a radiologist worldwide.

Two-thirds of the world are without access to diagnostic radiology, so this tool may have the potential to save lives.
