Alliance HealthCare finalizes partnership deal with Northeast Radiology
On Aug. 29, California-based Alliance HealthCare Services announced it had finalized a partnership agreement with Northeast Radiology, an imaging practice with five locations in Connecticut and New York.
”The team at Northeast Radiology couldn’t be a better match for us as we continue to serve patients via a network of freestanding outpatient and hospital-based offerings – including those throughout communities in the Northeast,” said Rich Jones, president of Alliance’s radiology division, in a prepared statement. “Their focus on compassionate care, low-cost imaging services and maintaining excellent clinical and quality standards is aligned with our own mission.”
Northeast Radiology, recent named a American College of Radiology center of excellence, has a staff of nine radiologists and more than 100 employees. The practice will join Alliance’s network of imaging providers that includes more than 1,100 hospitals in 46 states. Northeast offers a range of diagnostic services including MRI, CT, PET/CT, ultrasound and 3D mammography.
“In our search for the right partner, we looked closely at reputation and quality medical imaging standards,” said Howard Lee, MD, president of Northeast Radiology. “Partnering with Alliance Radiology helps our team access best practice sharing through the Alliance national network of providers and hospitals, while continuing to provide the same compassionate care and fair pricing for the local community we’ve always served.”
Lee and Northeast co-founder Mark Glicklich, MD, will continue to lead Northeast.
