Carestream RIS Gets EHR Certification

Carestream Health announced that version 11 of its Vue RIS has been certified as an electronic health record (EHR) module by the Certification Commission For Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), in accordance with applicable hospital and eligible provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). The criteria support the Stage 1 Meaningful Use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Carestream Vue RIS, v. 11, certification ID CC-1112-747350-1, was certified as an EHR module on October 26, 2011, under the hospital domain. It meets certification criteria 170.302 c-I, k-l, n-v, and 170.306 b-c and h. Carestream Vue RIS, v.11, certification ID CC-1112-747350-2, was certified as an EHR module under the eligible provider domain and meets certification criteria: 170.302 c-I, k-l, n-v, and 170.304 c, e-f, h, and j. The clinical quality measures to which this EHR module has been certified include NQF 0013, NQF 0024, NQF 0027, NQF 0028, NQF 0031, NQF 0038 ,and NQF 061.
