Northwest Radiology Practice Names New Leader
Medical Imaging Northwest, a five-location radiology practice serving Washington State’s South King and Pierce counties, has named Christopher Archer as its Chief Administrative Officer.
"Chris brings a long history of leadership in the healthcare industry with the added benefit of radiology practice management expertise. His experience spans over 20 years, bringing invaluable insight from technology to operations, encompassing the multiple perspectives from physician, hospital administrative, independent practice, radiologist and staff to the patient experience," stated Katherine Choi-Chinn, M.D., executive chair of Medical Imaging Northwest in an announcement on its website.
Archer will report to the Medical Imaging Northwest Executive Team, as well as the Diagnostic Imaging Northwest Board of Directors. He will be responsible for the organization's management, operating team programs and infrastructure.
Before coming to Medical Imaging Northwest, Archer was Chief Operating Officer for Affiliated Radiologist, S.C. at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
Medical Imaging Northwest radiologists serve a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. The practice has a joint alliance with MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital, Pullyap, Wash., and supports five ACR-accredited outpatient sites located in Puyallup, Sunrise and Bonney Lake, Wash. Its imaging services include MR, CT, diagnostic ultrasound, mammography and stereotactic breast biopsy bone densitometry, musculoskeletal, geriatric, vascular, interventional, orthopedic, cross-sectional, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine and emergency radiology services.
