Platinum Agrees to Buy DMS Health Technologies

Platinum Equity has agreed to purchase another company in the medical imaging field with DMS Health Technologies. The investment firm announced this week it signed a definitive purchase agreement for the distributor of Phillips Healthcare diagnostic imaging equipment in the Midwest. The company also sells supplies and accessories along with conditioned equipment nationwide. Platinum bought DMS from parent company Otter Tail Corporation, fitting with the firms experience creating divestiture solutions for corporate parent companies, according to a press release.
