Radiologists Join Coalition Tackling Neurological Disorders
The Society for Brain Imaging and Therapeutics has announced a coalition of top U.S. and Canadian scientists dedicated to finding solutions for neurological disorders.
The coalition will kick off its efforts at the 9th Annual World Congress on Brain, Spinal Cord Mapping, and Image Guided Therapy from June 2-4, 2012 in Toronto, Canada, according to a press release. “The theme of this year's conference is "Nano-Bio-Electronics," which focuses on the integration of nanotechnology, stem cell research, and biomedical engineering, and imaging of the brain and spinal cord to make progress in the fight against neurological diseases,” the release states.
The coalition has been endorsed by the International Society for Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Medicine.
