Carestream granted 42 US patents in 2018

Carestream has announced that it was granted 42 new patents from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 2018. The patents were focused on digital radiography, extremity CT imaging and other key healthcare technologies. 

“These valuable patents demonstrate our continued success in developing advanced diagnostic imaging technologies that serve healthcare providers around the world,” Susan Parulski, Carestream’s chief patent sounsel, said in a prepared statement. “Our employees are committed to delivering new products that can enhance image quality, deliver greater productivity and offer new capabilities to help improve the quality of patient care.”

Carestream also received 37 patents from European and Asian countries.
