Commonwealth Radiology Associates expands in New Hampshire with latest hospital partnership
One of Massachusetts’ largest private radiology groups is expanding in the state of New Hampshire through a hospital partnership.
Andover-based Commonwealth Radiology Associates has inked a deal to provide comprehensive imaging services to the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough. Founded in 2002, CRA operates approximately 20 locations across both northeastern Massachusetts and southern Maine.
Monadnock picked the practice after scouring for a radiology partner to help support long-term growth while continuing to meet the needs of its current patients. CRA was selected as the best fit to meet this mission, the two said in an announcement Jan. 19.
“Partnering with Commonwealth Radiology Associates is an excellent choice to ensure the continuation of the delivery of high-quality radiologic care for our patients,” hospital CEO Cynthia McGuire said in a statement. “It was important that we remain able to offer these vital services close to home for our community, and we look forward to working together with such a well-established and respected local organization.”
Commonwealth Radiology Associates bills itself as the “largest private practice radiology group in Massachusetts,” primarily serving the suburbs of Boston. It employs a team of 45 board-certified radiologists, practicing the full scope of diagnostic and interventional services. The practice also recently inked a partnership with Heywood Hospital, providing services to its facilities in the Massachusetts communities of Gardner and Athol.
“CRA is deeply committed to supporting patients, hospital partners, and referring physicians through high-quality, reliable radiology services,” said Allan Hoffman, MD, president of Commonwealth Radiology Associates, said in the announcement. “We are excited to grow our regional footprint through our partnership with Monadnock. In an increasingly complex healthcare environment, strong collaborations like this are essential.”
