RSNA launches new tool to give business managers ‘Market Insights’ from radiologists

The Radiological Society of North America has launched a new resource, aiming to give healthcare business managers “Market Insights” from radiologists.

The new imaging-centric business reports will offer “useful analytics in a consumable format,” the society said in a Tuesday announcement. RSNA hopes to help radiology leaders “eliminate blind spots” and aid in strategic planning.

“Industry leaders find it essential to hear directly from the radiologists they serve," Curtis P. Langlotz, MD, PhD, chair of the RSNA Board of Directors, said in a Sept. 12 announcement. “These key market intelligence reports contain specifically curated insights that support informed decision-making, leading to more successful strategic initiatives and better management decisions.”

The society has already released two reports in the RSNA Market Insights series. “Radiologist Segmentation Report: Practice Type & Career Stage 2023” details different workplace preferences among members of the specialty in various settings. “Radiologist Perspective Report: Artificial Intelligence 2023,” meanwhile, explores the dynamics that drive physicians’ trust in and adoption of AI products.
