Strategic Radiology announces addition of Radiology Associates of Tallahassee

Strategic Radiology has officially welcomed Radiology Associates of Tallahassee from Tallahassee, Florida, to its coalition of independent practices. This is the group’s second practice overall to hail from Florida.

Radiology Associates of Tallahassee has provided the Tallahassee area with imaging services since 1961, treating patients at three hospitals and another two outpatient imaging centers. The practice has more than 180 employees, including 20 radiologists covering a wide range of subspecialties.

“Strategic Radiology is excited to welcome Radiology Associates of Tallahassee into our coalition,” Arl Van Moore Jr, MD, CEO and chair of Strategic Radiology, said in a prepared statement. “Our new colleagues at Tallahassee share our commitment to working collaboratively with other independent groups on behalf of our patients and health care partners.”

Strategic Radiology now includes 28 member groups and more than 1,100 radiologists. The practice added Charlotte, North Carolina-based Mecklenburg Radiology Associates back in June.
