Strategic Radiology welcomes Minneapolis Radiology Associates to coalition of independent practices

Strategic Radiology announced Friday, April 6, that Minneapolis Radiology Associates has joined its coalition of independent radiology practices, making it the company’s 10th affiliate.

Minneapolis Radiology Associates is a 26-physician practice that provides imaging services to six hospitals, four health systems, numerous outpatient imaging centers and other care sites.

“We recently concluded decisively that we are not interested in a private equity/venture capital relationship,” Troy Roovers, CEO of Minneapolis Radiology Associates, said in a prepared statement. “We look forward to collaborating with our new Strategic Radiology colleagues and enjoying membership benefits, such as access to quality benchmarking opportunities as well as in-house, subspecialty after-hours support.”

“We are proud to welcome Minneapolis Radiology Associates to the Strategic Radiology coalition,” Arl Van Moore Jr., MD, CEO and chair of Strategic Radiology, said in the same statement. “Minneapolis Radiology Associates is an excellent practice that shares our core values and commitment to excellence and also broadens our geographic diversity.”
