FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A. expands executive leadership team

FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A. has added Chief Operating Officer Johann Fernando, PhD, and Chief Medical Officer Diku Mandavia, MD, to the company’s executive leadership team.

Both Fernando and Mandavia were named to their current positions on Sept. 28.

“We are pleased to welcome Johann and Diku to join Fujifilm’s executive leadership team,” Masataka Akiyama, FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A. president and CEO, said in a statement. “Their broad experience and proven success in the industry will support our efforts to increase customer focus and innovation, enhance strategic and tactical execution, and accelerate growth.”

According to the official Fujifilm Medical Systems U.S.A. statement, Fernando will lead and manage the sales, medical informatics, modality solutions, business operations, and service teams.

Mandavia, who is also the chief medical officer of FUJIFILM SonoSite, will oversee activities in patient care, medical professional networking, and health systems interaction.
