Levin joins Outpatient Imaging Affiliates board of directors
Nashville, TN (May 12, 2015) – Outpatient Imaging Affiliates (“OIA”) announced today that world renowned radiologist, David Levin, M.D., has agreed to formally join the OIA Board of Directors. Dr. Levin has been a close ally of OIA since the formation of Jefferson University Radiology Associates, a joint venture between OIA and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, in 2002.

Dr. Levin is the Professor and Chairman Emeritus of the Department of Radiology at Jefferson Medical College and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He was appointed Chair of Radiology at Jefferson Medical College in 1986 and held that post for 16 years before stepping down in 2002. He continues to work in Jefferson’s Department of Radiology doing coronary CT angiography, research and teaching in the area of health services. Nationally, Dr. Levin has served as President of the Society of Chairmen of Academic Radiology Departments, Chair of several Radiological Society of North America committees and several committees and commissions of the American College of Radiology. In 2008, an endowed chair was established in Dr. Levin’s honor at Thomas Jefferson University; naming the Chair of the Department of Radiology as The David C. Levin Professor and Chair of Radiology.
