Enrollment is now underway in Massachusetts for a six-week course on the history of medical imaging.
Janet Miller, a medical science writer from the Massachusetts General Hospital department of radiology, will be teaching the course. She is an expert on the history and evolution of the medical imaging industry, from its very beginnings to today.
“The developments in medical imaging over the past 120 years are some of the most important in the practice of medicine,” Miller said in recent article published in the Concord Journal. “We’ll share the stories behind these fascinating technologies what we enjoy today.”
The course begins on March 29, and there is a suggested donation of $60. Classes will be held at the Concord Free Public Library in Concord, Mass.
