Radiologist considering run to be leader of Conservative Party of Canada

Dr. Dan Lindsay, a radiologist in Winnipeg, Manitoba, has launched an exploratory committee and is considering running to be the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, according to a story published by the Winnipeg Free Press.

"When I look at the political spectrum I think...there needs to be some real leadership with a sense of humour," Lindsay said, as quoted by the Free Press.

Lindsay, 60, currently serves as the director of diagnostic imaging for the Interlake Regional Health Authority and the Northern Regional Health Authority. He is also president-elect of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
